La Rioja (Spain) October 04, 2016 (SPS) - The Minister of Cooperation, Mr. Bulahi Sid called on Spain to shoulder its historical, moral and political responsibilities towards the Saharawi people, during the closing of his visit to several Spanish cities
Sahrawi Minister, along with Polisario Front representative in the said city, concluded his tour on Monday in the city of La Rioja, where he met Speaker of province´s Parliament Ms. Anna Lourdes, Mr. SG of the Presidency of the province, and regional cooperation advisor, as well as the parliamentary group "peace and freedom for the Sahrawi people."
The bilateral discussions has focused on the latest developments of Sahrawi issue in the light of the recent Moroccan escalation in El Guergarat area as well as the humanitarian situation in the Saharawi refugee camps due to the acute shortage of human support.
He also called during his talks with province´s officials, government and elected to exert more pressure on the Government of the Moroccan occupation to comply with the requirements of international legitimacy.SPS
