Shaheed El-Hafed (Refugee Camps), March 5, 2017 (SPS) – President of Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, inaugurated the new center of preparation of electronic documents, associated to the Central Directorate of Statistics.
In the presence of Saharawi coordinator with MINURSO, M'hamed Khadad, members of the government and representatives of UNHCR and MINURSO, the organizers gave presentation about the statistics related to the process of updating national identity cards and passports, where the work reached advanced stages. The staff of the center also provided outlook on the prospects for the digitization of driving licenses and public administrations.
President of the Republic and the audience visited various sections of the center, where detailed explanations given about the conditions, method of work, and the level of services provided to citizens. (SPS)
