Havana, May 30, 2017 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, during his official visit to Cuba has met with the Saharawi students in the city of Santiago de Cuba and in Havana.
At the meeting, and in addition to academic matters, the issues related to the national cause and the excellent historical relations between the sister peoples in the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and the Republic of Cuba were also in the agendas.
The Saharawi students, on the other hand, greeted the Intifada of independence, expressing their solidarity with the prisoners of Gdeim Izik and all Saharawi political prisoners.
The President was accompanied by a member of the National Secretariat and Minister for Latin America, Mansur Omar, Minister of Education Mohamed Moulud Mohamed Fadel, Delegate to Spain, Jira Bulahi, Ambassador to Cuba Malainin Atgana and Abdati Braika, counselor at presidency. SPS
