Chahed El Hafid, July 12, 2016 (SPS) - The new Secretary General of Polisario Front and elected President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) Brahim Ghali takes office today replacing Mohamed Abdelaziz, the new POLISARIO’s leader was elected by the overwhelming majority of participants in the Extraordinary Congress held on the last July 08 and 09 in the camps of Dakhla.
Before the ceremony of inauguration, the new president was received by the outgoing interim President, Mr. Khatri Aduh at the presidential headquarters, where units of the Liberation Army undertake to them honorary salute.
The ceremony took place in the presence of members of the National Secretariat, Government, leadership of Liberation Army Staff, the National Council, and the Constitutional Council, the Supreme Judicial Council, ambassadors accredited.SPS
