Moscow, Oct29, 2020 (SPS) - The International Coordination of the Moscow Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Russia reiterated, on Tuesday, its support for the inalienable right of the people of Western Sahara to self-determination and independence.
In a message addressed to the representative of the Frente POLISARIO to the Russian Federation, the Coordination Committee affirmed its "solidarity with the Saharawi people in their struggle to obtain their right to freedom, independence and a decent life in their country."
In the same regard, the Communist Party of Russia has expressed its desire to develop and strengthen relations with the Frente POLISARIO, the unique and legitimate representative of the Saharawi people.
The Russian Communist Party is the second political force in the country after the "United Russia" party and is considered heir to the Soviet Communist Party. It places the question of the right of the peoples to self-determination as a principle and one of the constants of the party. SPS
