Bir Lahlou (liberated territories), 28 February 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Monday new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the sectors of Mahbes and Awserd, indicated the National Ministry of Defense in its military communiqué No. 472.
"Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi Army targeted the positions of the soldiers of the Moroccan occupier in the regions of Akouira Ould Ablal and Sebkha Tnouched in the sector of Mahbes," said the same source.
Sahrawi Army units also carried out attacks against the soldiers of the occupier in the region of Adhim Oum Adjloud in the Awserd sector.
Advanced SPLA detachments had bombarded, on Sunday, positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the regions of Rous Chadhimia and Wad Damrane in the Mahbes sector.
The attacks of the Sahrawi Army continue against the occupation forces, which sustain heavy human and material losses along the wall of shame since the violation by Morocco on 13 November 2020 of the ceasefire agreement.
