UN posts map with real borders of Western Sahara challenging Morocco's attempts to overshadow international legality

Submitted on

New York (United Nations), 8 Abril 2023 (SPS) - In its latest continent map update posted on its website, the United Nations shows the real borders of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) as a distinct and separate territory from Morocco, challenging Morocco's desperate attempts to overshadow international legality.
The African continent map published by the UN website shows Western Sahara as a fully-fledged State, with El Aaiun as capital.
It is worth mentioning that in its advisory opinion of 1975, the International Court of Justice concluded that the elements and information brought to its attention did not establish the existence of any territorial sovereignty connection between Western Sahara and Morocco."
In addition, all international resolutions consider Western Sahara as a "separate and distinct" territory over which Morocco has no sovereignty whatsoever.
