Chahid El Hafed, Nov 01, 2017 (SPS) - President of the Sahrawi Arab and Democratic Republic (SADR) Brahim Gali has received an official invitation from the African Union (AU) Commissioner Moussa Faki Mahamat to participate in the 5th African Union-European Union Summit (AU-EU), planned in Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire) on 29 - 30 November 2017, Sahrawi media said Wednesday.
Moussa Faki also sent invitations to the 55 member countries of the African Union.
"I would like to invite you to participate in this important event and we are counting on your valuable contribution to the efforts in order to meet the challenges facing young people in our two continents and to offer them better prospects," said Faki in the invitation letter.
Moussa Faki assured President Ibrahim Ghali that "the AU Commission will take all the necessary steps to make the 5th AU-EU Summit a resounding success for the development of Africa and the strengthening of the partnership between our continent and the Europe.”SPS
