Bir Lahlu (Liberated Territories) September 10, 2022 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the POLISARIO Front Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a condolence message to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom the Rt Hon. Elizabeth Truss MP after the death of the Queen Elizabeth II.
President Brahim Ghali said in his condolence message “It was with deep sadness that we learnt of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II today aged 96”.
“On behalf of the Government and the people of the Sahrawi Republic, I would like to extend our most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to you, to the Royal Family and the British people and to the Commonwealth nations at this sad time” added the message.
The message stated “as the United Kingdom’s longest-reigning Head of State Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was a world-renowned public figure who dedicated her life to serving the British people and the Commonwealth with an outstanding devotion and sense of duty”.
“Her legacy, devotion and inspiring leadership will long be remembered by many around the world” concluded the condolence message.
