Shaheed Al Hafed, 25 February 2023 (SPS) - An Italian medical mission will begin Sunday a visit the Sahrawi refugee camps to conduct medical examinations in various specialties.
The mission includes a group of doctors who specialize in diabetes, gynecology and anemia. It also includes a group of doctors from the University of Rome who specialize in school health.
Doctors are expected to conduct examinations in a number of schools in the Sahrawi Republic, including diseases of the eyes, head, brain, and others related to skin diseases.
In the mission's program, visits to three wilayas, during which doctors in regional hospitals of the wilayas are expected to conduct examinations for patients with diabetes, gynecology and those related to anemia resulting from nutritional deficiency, especially in light of the lack of humanitarian assistance directed to Sahrawi refugees.
