Bir-Lehlou, July 8, 2018 (SPS) - President of Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Soudan, on the occasion of 7th anniversary of the Independence Day.
“On behalf of the Saharawi People and on my own behalf, I extend sincere congratulations on your 7th Independence Day Anniversary, which is a major milestone of the Republic of South Soudan’ history and in the Struggle of People for liberation and freedom. I wish you and the people of South Sudan happiness, continued success and prosperity,” said the President of Republic.
“The Republic of South Sudan has become a key partner and ally of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic when working together in the African Union. Over this period, we have established a close dialogue, based on common approach towards a number of topical matters, in addressing the key challenges of eradication of all sort of colonization and economical dependency agenda in our continent.”
“We highly value South Sudan’s solidarity and contribution to support and defend the right of the Saharawi people for independence and freedom. For sure strengthening our bilateral relations will be a stronger push to the African Union to take its natural role as an important International player,” the President of Republic concluded his message to President Salva Kiir.
