Abuja (Nigeria), 29 April 2023 (SPS) - Minister Counsellor in charge of Diplomatic Affairs and Personal Envoy of the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, was received Friday by H.E. Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, at the Presidential Palace in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.
The Minister handed over a written letter from the Sahrawi President to his Nigerian counterpart, on the latest developments regarding the developments related to the national issue and the Sahrawi - Moroccan conflict.
The talks reviewed the history of the distinguished bilateral relations, marked by solidarity, cooperation and defense of the principles on which the Constitutive Act of the African Union was founded as well as international law.
The meeting was attended on the Nigerian side by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, and other official, and on the Sahrawi side by Ambassador of the Sahrawi Republic to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr. Brahim Salem Bousif.
