Wilaya of Awsard, 21 May 2023 (SPS) - The International Conference of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People opened Saturday evening, in the wilaya of Awsard in the Sahrawi refugee camps, with a wide presence of foreign solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Polisario Front and the outbreak of the Sahrawi armed struggle.
In her speech on the occasion, the governor of the wilaya of Awsard, Ms. Khira Bulahi, welcomed the delegations participating in the Conference, praising their role in accompanying the struggle of the Saharawi people and its just cause, calling for intensifying efforts to defend the Sahrawi cause worldwide.
The International Conference of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People aspires to establish parliamentary groups of solidarity with the Sahrawi people as a step that will strengthen parliamentary diplomacy in its various aspects.
