Injuries and detainees due to violent intervention by Moroccan gendarmerie against Saharawis exodus near occupied El Aaiun

El Aaiun (occupied territories) April 25, 2011 (SPS) - A violent intervention by the Moroccan occupation gendarmerie against a group of Saharawis exodus in Kneidalf region, in the suburbs of occupied El Aaiun, leads to injuries and detainees, according to sources of the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

According to the same source, dozens of the Saharawi citizens were injured after they surrounded and assaulted by the Moroccan gendarmerie and assistant forces.

Here is list of some injuries: Jmiaa Mgeimim, Sida Lbaihat, Taslam Garhi, Selma Haimadha, Matu Mgeili, Lala Busawla, Darifa Mheifid, Yusuf Ayash, Argia Lazrag, Shbeida Sid Ahmed and others.

In relevant context, clashes erupted Monday in Tan Tan’s street, in the occupied city of El Aaiun, between Saharawi demonstrators and the Moroccan police.

Moreover, tens of Saharawi citizens and unemployed organized Wednesday a peaceful vigil in the region of Fam Elwad, 25 km western of occupied El Aaiun. (SPS)
