Boumerdes (Algeria), July 19, 2011 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and the Secretary General of the Polisario Front , Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, qualified Tuesday in Boumerdes, the agenda presented by the UN Secretary General concerning the eighth informal meeting between the Polisario Front and Morocco as "important," because the proposals of both parties will be discussed.
In a statement on the sidelines of the closing of the Summer University of Saharawi Cadres, President Abdelaziz said he is optimistic about this new round of talks starting Wednesday in Manhasset (New York), wishing it will receive the same will from the Moroccan delegation.
The president of the republic added that during this two-day meeting, there will be a reflection on other aspects related to the issue of voters with the prospect of a referendum on self-determination.
