Addis-Abeba, Jan 10, 2012 (SPS)- The Peace and Security Council (PSC)of the African Union ,held Monday a meeting on partnership between AU and the United Nations in promoting peace and security in Africa.
The meeting held at the headquarters of the AU Commission in Addis Ababa, attended by the Foreign Minister of Kenya, Moses Wetang'ula, who his country currently chairs the African Union PSC, Commissioner for Peace and Security, Ambassador Ramtane Lamamra, representatives of AU member countries, UN and EU.
The meeting considered the report of the African Union Commissioner, Jean Ping, on the partnership between AU and the UN on peace and security. (SPS)
