"We reiterate our call on the UN to assume its responsibility to exert all necessary pressure and sanctions on the Moroccan authorities to put an end to its  mockery of international law and end the farce of presenting civilians before a military court " , wrote  President Mohamed Abdelaziz in a letter to KI moon.

President Mohamed Abdelaziz underlined it is not only a matter of civilians to be brought before a military court, but  more serious,  innocent Saharawis  belong to region  under responsibility of the UN until decolonization,

He has also insisted "the Moroccan decision to subject prisoners of Gdeim Izik before a military court on Friday January 13, 2012, is not only illegal and immoral, it is also a mockery of the international community represented by UN and  subtracting its consideration and credibility ".

The President stressed this act  reflects the serious violation of human rights perpetrated by Moroccan regime  as   regularly reported the international organizations including  the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights .

President Mohamed Abdelaziz reaffirmed that Morocco is the only responsible for repressing, jailing and killing Sahrawi children, women and elderly following the deadly attack of Moroccan army against Saharawi protest camp of Gdeim Izik. (SPS)
