Copenhagen, January18, 2011(SPS) the Danish Member of the European Parliament, Mr. Søren

Søndergaard, denounced the Moroccan –EU attempts to renew Controversial 4-year fishing agreement with Morocco, which include occupied Western Sahara waters, considered theses talks as “absurd”

“In December the European Parliament kicked the Fisheries Agreement between the EU and Morocco out the front door, and now only a month later the European Commission is trying to smuggle the agreement from the back door with the new negotiations” the Member of the Bureau Nonfederal Group of the European United Left ,wrote  in his blog.

“It is quite absurd” Mr. Søren Søndergaard, he added.

It should be recalled that the Europe Parliament In December 2011 rejected the renewal of EU-Moroccan fisheries   agreement because the Agreement was violate the international law when it allowed the European vessels to fish in waters of the occupied western Sahara.(SPS)
