Six Saharawi detainees’ students expected to appear today before the Moroccan Court of Appeal

Sale (Morocco), Jan 30, 2012 (SPS) - The six Saharawi students, who are detained since April 21, 2011 on the ground of holding peaceful protests to denounce the death of the Saharawi student Hbad Hamadi, are expected to appear today before the Court of Appeal in Sale, Morocco, according to a source of the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

The trail is third of its kind after the procrastination that affected them by the same court, which was postponed their trail two previous occasions.

The six students have previously held a hunger strike to protest miserable situation in which they live inside the jail and to demand their release.

It should be recalled that the six students are: Brahim Shleih, Lahbib Mansour, Ahmed Ayoub, Mohamed Barak, Salima Al Masaa and Abeilil Said. (SPS)
