Seville (Spain) , Feb 1, 2012 (SPS)- the 37th European Conference of Coordination and Support to the Sahrawi People (EUCOCO) to be held on 3 to 05 February , 2012, in Seville, Spain.
Hosted by the Association of Friends of the Sahrawi People in Seville, the conference will be honored by the presence of President of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, alongside with SADR ministers and Polisario Front representatives to European countries.
The conference will be attended by associations in solidarity with Saharawi people, local and regional authorities, NGOs, trade unions and the inter-parliamentary group fighting for the Saharawi cause.
The conference aims to raise the awareness of the European societies towards the just cause of the Saharawi people as well as the human rights situation in occupied Western Sahara.
It will also discuss the way to reach just and peaceful solution to the conflict.
The conference will make appeal to EU and UN to support the Saharawi people’s right to self-determination through a fair referendum.
The 36th conference of EUCOCO has been held on the 29th, 30th and 31st of October 2010 at the Convention Centre in Le Mans, France. (SPS)
