El Aaiun (occupied territories), Feb 10, 2012 (SPS) - The Moroccan authorities prevented Wednesday Saharawi widows and retirees of the so-called Moroccan Office of Drinking Water from organizing a peaceful sit-in the occupied city of El Aaiun, a human rights source informed.
The protestors aimed to demand their just and legitimate rights, but the Moroccan security services, in official and civil clothes, prevented them.
On other hand, victims of the gross human rights violations in Western Sahara organized today a peaceful sit-in outside what so-called Moroccan Council of Human Rights to ask the Moroccan authorities to unveil the fate of the Saharawi disappeared and missings as to demand their rights, which are confiscated by the Moroccan state.
