Prime Minister receives delegation of the Algerian Archives

Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), Feb 12, 2012 (SPS) - The Member of the National Secretariat and Prime Minster, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, received Friday at the reception centre in Shaheed Al-Hafed, Saharawi refugee camps, a delegation of the Algerian Archive in the conclusion of a three-day.

The Algerian delegation stopped at the Saharawi archive experience through field visit to the national and media achieve, military museum and achieve of the Saharawi Union of Woman and other facilities.

President of the Delegation, Mr. Mohamed Bounaama, said that the visit “was an opportunity to closely stop at the Saharawi archiving reality,” expressing his admiration for the national experience despite that the priorities of the Saharawis since dawn of the colonization of their country “were to meet the necessities of refugees like health, food, security and others, but efforts of the Polisario Front in the field did not neglect the historical background as well as its documentation and classification.”

From his part, Director of the National Archive, Mr. Al-Arbi Mbarek Bachir, underlined that the visit is “a culmination of efforts of cooperation, through the exchange of experiences and enhance the ways of the future partnership pursuant to the terms of the 2005 bilateral agreement signed between the two institutions.

The delegation was led by the Vice Director General of the Algerian National Archives, Mr. Mohamed Bounaama, Director of the Training champion and Representative of the Institution, Mr. Rachdi Ali.

The visit comes in series of exchanged meetings to strengthen the level of partnership between the two sides, in the time when the two institutions intend to continue their bilateral efforts of cooperation in the future.

It shoud be recalled that Ms. Bounaama had previously visited the Saharawi refugee camps. (SPS)
