Bir Lehlou (liberated territories), Feb 18, 2012 (SPS) - In a statement of Secretariat of the Branches, the Polisario Front denied Saturday its participation at the Congress of the Authenticity and Modernity Moroccan Party, expressing surprise to the resort of some Moroccan parties to such “fabrications that have no base.”
“The Polisario Front while categorically denies any participation at congress of the Authenticity and Modernity Moroccan Party; it expresses surprise on the resort of some Moroccan parties to such fabrications and concoctions, especially as the Polisario Front, the sole legitimate representative of the Saharawi people, negotiate directly, officially and publicly with the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco under the supervision of the United Nations. Giving the fact that it did not receive an invitation and even did not seek to participate in this congress, so there is no need or justification for its participation in the secret case,” read the statement.
The Polisario denounced such ways, considering it as a “tendentious propaganda.”
“The Polisario Front, which condemns the dissemination of this baseless information, deplores again the use of such tendentious propaganda methods by well-known Moroccan parties,” added the statement. (SPS)
