Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), April 08, 2012(SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, addressed on Saturday a message of condolence to his counterpart of Malawi, Mrs. Joyce Banda, on death of President Bingu wa Mutharika.
Below is the full text of the President’s letter:

It is with great sorrow and regret that we have learned of the sudden death of our brother Dr. Bingu wa Mutharika, president of Malawi, today April 7th, 2012.
His death constitutes a great loss for the whole continent of Africa and for the people of Malawi. Indeed, we have all lost a great leader and a great friend.
On this sad occasion I would like, on behalf of the saharawi people and their government and on my own behalf, to express to you, to the people of Malawi and to the family of the late president, our most sincere condolences for this unexpected death.
May I also express my best wishes for the people of Malawi to overcome this difficult time.
Please accept, Excellency, my highest consideration.
