Havana, May 09, 2012 (SPS) - Member of National Secretariat, Secretary General of the Saharawi Students' Union (UESARIO), Ahmed Lehbib began on Monday a working visit to Cuba, according to statement of UESARIO.
Secretary General of UESARIO received in Havana by the Saharawi Ambassador to Cuba along with head of External affairs in Cuban Youth as well as representatives of the students unions, said the source.
The statement emphasized that the visit comes as a part of strategy to strengthen the UESARIO branches in abroad.
The visit aims at seeking ways to promote the conditions of Saharawi students in Cuba as well as establishing a Saharawi student’s league, the statement added.
The Secretary General of UESARIO will meet with members of Committee of Foreign Affairs in Cuban Communist Party as well as representatives of student organizations .
In relevant context, a delegation from UESARIO arrived in Berlin as a part of European tour.
The delegation will hold meeting with committee of Human Rights at the German parliament (Bundestag). (SPS)
