Saharawi political prisoners of Black jail stage alarming hunger strike

El Aaiun (occupied territories), Sept 1, 2012 (SPS) - The 11 Saharawi political prisoners, currently incarcerated in Black jail in occupied El Aaiun, started Friday a 24-hour alarming hunger strike in solidarity with the Saharawi political detainee Ghali Bouhala, who was assaulted and put in a solitary confinement in the same prison, quoted a statement of the Executive Bureau of the Collective of Saharawi Defenders of Human Rights (CODESA).


The 11 Saharawi political prisoners are: Mahjub Awlad Sheikh, Atig Baray, Hasana Al-Wali, Kamal Trayah, Mohamed Manolo, Abdelaziz Barray, Khaled Amaim, Omar Kaezay, Alawi Hamada, Barikallah Dalbuh and Anwa Assadat Lahmaid.


On other hand, the Moroccan occupation authorities released Friday the Saharawi political detainee Shawif Nasri, who was arrested end of last December on confrontations with Moroccan settlers, after he completed the sentence against him. (SPS)
