40 Sahrawi women missing after their detention by Moroccan authorities

Algiers,March14,2013(SPS) - Forty Sahrawi women are reported missing after their detention by the Moroccan authorities in the occupied Sahrawi territories, said Wednesday the Secretary General of the Union of Sahrawi Jurists , Abba Haisan.
 

Speaking during a press conference in Algiers, Haisan denounced the different forms of repression and torture against Sahrawi activists held in Moroccan prisons, adding that their action continues in the occupied Sahrawi territories to recover independence, freedom and the legitimate rights of Sahrawi people in accordance with international resolutions.

 

He also denounced the suffering of the Sahrawi prisoners of Gdeim Izik group in the Moroccan jails "after the unfair sentences against them by the Moroccan military court."(SPS)
