Tifariti (liberated territories) May 20, 2013 (SPS) - the representative of the Brazilian Communist Party, Mr. Michel Chaga, who attended the celebrations commemorating 40th anniversary of outbreak of the armed struggle, appreciated relationships of solidarity and cooperation that combine his party with the Polisario Front
Mr. Chaga said, speaking from the liberated town of Tifariti during the event opening, that the Brazilian Communist Party considers the liberation of Western Sahara as "the issue of all peace-loving people across the world."
Mr. Chaga, who is also President of the Brazilian-Sahrawi friendship Association, confirmed solidarity and support of members of the party with the Saharawi people, saying that their struggle is "a struggle against global imperialism".(SPS)
