Pretoria, June 19, 2013 (SPS) – The Embassy of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in South Africa, has shared with the people of South Africa, the celebrations of the International Day for Mandela, which marks his 95 birthday, which represented an opportunity for the Sahrawi delegation to provide warmest congratulations and best wishes to the African leader and his family on behalf of the Saharawi people.
The delegation submitted a letter from the President of Republic and the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front to the African leader family and the leadership of the African National, through which he expressed the wishes of the Saharawi people of good health and urgent recovery for Mr. Mandela and recalling the virtues of leader and his contribution to the global advancement of South Africa and its leadership to be free in the space of tolerance and reconciliation.
The delegation has visited Mandela in the hospital where he lay, and put a wreath of flowers and a Sahrawi flag at the entrance of the hospital.
