Salé (Morocco), April 1, 31, 2014 (SPS) - The Saharawi political prisoners of Group Gdeim Izik have condemned all forms of oppression and intimidation carried out against them in Moroccan prisons, urging the international organizations of human rights to exert pressure on the Moroccan state to save their lives and guarantee their legitimate rights.
The group called upon the African Union, European Union, United Nations and all peace-loving people around the world to pressurize the Moroccan government to release all the Saharawi political prisoners incarcerated in Moroccan prisons, whose life is in danger as a result of the hunger strikes they held and poor prison conditions in which they live, said a statement received by SPS.
They also reiterated their solidarity with the rest of Saharawi political prisoners. (SPS)
