Montevideo, July 23, 2014 (SPS) - Participants at the Progressive Alliance seminar, held on 22-23 July 2014, in Montevideo, capital of Uruguay, have hailed Polisario Front’s policy on gender equality, during a discussion on the states’ experiences with regard to woman political organization.
Held under the theme “fighting inequality,” the seminar said that the Polisario Front is one of the few parties and movements which puts into practice such policy.
The event was attended by a Saharawi delegation composed of the Secretary General of Women Union Ms. Fatma Al-Mahdi and Ambassador in Uruguay Mr. Chaibani Abbas. (SPS)
