Lusaka (Zambia), November 10, 2014 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, arrived Monday in the Zambian capital, Lusaka, to represent the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, at the funeral of the former Zambian President, Michael Sata, who died on 28 October.
The President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, has received an official invitation of the Zambian government to participate in the funeral of President Michael Sata, which will be held Tuesday in the presence of a large number of heads of state and government.
Michael Sata was elected president of Zambia in 2011, after winning the election against his rival Rupiah Banda, whose party took power for 20 years, it should be recalled. (SPS)
