Liberated Territories, December 9, 2014 (SPS) - Sahrawi President and Secretary General of the Polisario Front Mohamed Abdelaziz called on Monday, in the Sahrawi liberated territories, the Sahrawi people to fully adhere to the national alert plan drawn up by the front’s secretariat.

Speaking at the closing of the seminar on southern communities, Sahrawi president said that “this meeting is one of the stages of this national alert plan which doesn’t concern only the national army but involves all the components of the Sahrawi society.”

In this regard, Abdelaziz underlined that “the Sahrawi people will enter, in 2015, a very important year,” in the light of the “strong signal given by the United Nations” which considers necessary, in case of absence of progress on the Sahrawi issue by April 2015, to opt for a new approach in the handling of this issue.

“No developments of the issue are to be raised regarding the intransigence of the Moroccan side which continues to  reject the referendum, negotiations and  UN monitoring of human rights, to plunder  the Western Saharan resources and to hinder the efforts of UN special envoy Christopher Ross, said Abdelaziz.
