Addis Ababa, February 1, 2015 (SPS) - Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar has held meetings with several heads of state and government participating in the XXIV AU summit.
He held meetings with distinguished guests such as presidents the President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma, the President of Namibia, Hifikepunye Pohamba, Prime Minister of Algeria, Abdelmalek Sallal.
He also held meetings with the outgoing chairman of the AU, Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, the president of Zambia, Edgar Lungu, the AU Envoy for Western Sahara, former Mozambican President Joaquim Chissano, and the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn.
The Prime Minister discussed with his interlocutors issues of common interest and the latest developments related to the Saharawi question. (SPS)
