Foreign Ministry represents President of Republic at inauguration of Namibia new president

Windhoek, March 22, 2015 (SPS) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek,represented Saturday the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, at the inauguration of the new President of the Republic of Namibia, Mr Hague Geingob.

 

 The Representative of the President of the Republic transmitted a letter to President of Namibia and held talks with heads of delegations present at the ceremony.

 

In his farewell speech, the outgoing President Puhamba reaffirmed the support of Namibia to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.

 

Namibia celebrates at the same time the 25th anniversary of its independence.

 

The representative of the President of the Republic is accompanied by the Ambassador of SADR in Namibia, Mr. Malainine Seddik, it should be recalled. (SPS)
