Liliana (Slovenia), April 8, 2015 (SPS) - Responsible of Slovenian Africa and the Middle East, Asia Department, Mr. Robert Kocaeli received on Tuesday a Sahrawi delegation headed by the Minister Delegate in charge of Europe, Mr. Mohamed sidati at the Slovenian Foreign ministry.
The Sahrawi delegation informed Slovenian responsible the latest developments in the Sahrawi issue, pointing out the obstacles that Morocco has put as an obstacle to UN peace plan, and the grave violations of human rights committed by the Moroccan state in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
For his part, the Slovenian Diplomatic voiced his support to the efforts of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban Ki-moon and his Personal Envoy, Mr. Christopher Ross, in the resumption of negotiations aimed at reaching a peaceful solution that ensures the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence in accordance with the resolutions and regulations of the relevant United Nations.
