El Aaiun (Occupied Territories) April 21, 2015 (SPS) - The Coordination of Gdim Izik, in collaboration with the Saharawi Center for Culture and Thought, has organized the first conference about the reality of young Saharawi people under Moroccan occupation.
The conference was held under the theme: “Sahrawi Youth and National Struggle: Reality and Victories”.
The event was attended by a large number of Saharawi activists, especially young people.
The meeting focused on the ways to develop future struggle of Saharawi youth in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, and to unite efforts in order to achieve freedom and independence of the Saharawi people.
It is worth mentioning that Moroccan occupation authorities repeatedly tries to prevent the Saharawi human rights activists form organizing forums or activities that serve the national cause. (SPS)
