President of Republic offers condolences to family of French lawyer Francis Jacob

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Zones), May 23, 2015 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, sent a letter of condolence to the family of the honorary president of the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people in France, Mr. Francis Jacob, who died recently in French capital Paris.

 

"We learned with deep sorrow and sadness the passing away of great defender of the Saharawi cause Mr. Francis Jacob, and in this sad occasion I extend on behalf of the Saharawi people and government and my own behalf the condolences to the members of his family, the French Association of Friends of the Saharawi people and all his friends around the world," said the President of the Republic in his letter.

 

"His death is a great loss for peoples yearning for liberation and freedom and for the Saharawi people in particular who accompanied its struggle from the beginning," he added.

 

The President of Republic expressed his conviction that the values and human spirit that he had will be a source of inspiration for generations to come. (SPS)
