Pretoria (South Africa), 14/06/15 (SPS) - The Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) , Ms. Salma Beiruk met Friday with Senegalese President H.E. Macky Sall at the headquarters of the Pan African Parliament in the South African capital, Pretoria.
On the occasion of his participation in the XXV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union, held in South Africa, Mr. Macky Sall paid a courtesy visit to the Pan-African Parliament during which he met with leaders of this African legislative institution.
It is worth mentioning that the Saharawi deputy holds the position of the vice-president of the Pan-Africa Parliament. Her re-election in May reflects an obvious interest shown by the African Union (AU) on the conflict in Western Sahara. (SPS)
