Birlehlu, 22 June 2015 (SPS) - (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, sent Saturday a message of congratulations to his Malian counterpart, President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, for signing the peace and national reconciliation agreement in Mali.
"Following the signing yesterday in Bamako of the peace and reconciliation agreement in Mali, that can only be described as historic event. I have the pleasure, privilege and honor to address you on behalf of the Saharawi people and Government and on my own behalf to express our heartfelt congratulations," said President Mohamed Abdelaziz.
The President of the Republic said that the contribution of all the people of Mali to this agreement was crucial and that its success depended on an intense efforts and hard work led by Algeria as chief mediator and the international community "to come to this agreement for peace, national reconciliation, security, and development of the sisterly Republic of Mali ".
Bamako government signed Saturday the peace and national reconciliation agreement with Tuareg rebels in Mali. The agreement between the parties allows the gradual achievement of peace and stability in Mali Sahel region. SPS
