Birlehlu (Liberated Territories), July 4, 2015 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, sent Saturday a congratulatory letter to his Algerian counterpart, Abdelaziz Bouteflika, on the occasion of the 53th anniversary of independence and Youth Day, 5 July 1962.
President Mohamed Abdelaziz expressed, in the letter which a copy of it received by SPS, on his own behalf and on behalf of the people and the Government of the Sahrawi Republic his "warmest congratulations and best wishes", adding that the independence of Algeria is a pride for the Algerian people and all peoples fighting for their dignity and liberation.
He also expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for the firm position which has long adopted by Algeria in support of the just and legitimate struggle of the Saharawi people.
He insisted on the strengthening of relations of brotherhood and cooperation between the two countries to serve the interests of the Saharawi and Algerian peoples, and the peoples of the region and their aspirations to live in dignity. (SPS)
