Algeria 23 August 2015 (SPS) – Minister of Culture of Khadija Hamdi was received Sunday by her Algerian counterpart Azzedine Mihoubi, at the headquarters of the Algerian Ministry of Culture.
The visit comes within the framework of the bilateral relations between the two ministries and the means to further reinforce the strong relations that exist between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
The Algerian Minister of Culture expressed the willingness of his ministry to provide all possible means of support and solidarity to ensure more cooperation between the two ministries, announcing the launch of an Algerian cultural convoy towards the Sahrawi refugee camps on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of National Unity of the Sahrawi people, in addition to continuing and deepening the training, printing, and participation programs in the national and international in demonstrations.
For her part, the Sahrawi minister made a presentation about the efforts of her ministry despite the lack of resources and the circumstances of refuge, in order to develop this sector which has a special role in raising the awareness about the Saharawi people and their just cause.
The meeting was attended, besides Minister of Culture Khadija Hamdi, by Ambassador to Algeria Brahim Ghali. (SPS)
