Havana(Cuba), Sept 10, 2015 (SPS) - Sahrawi Ambassador to Cuba, Mr. Malainin Etgana met on Wednesday the Cuban acting Minister of Education Ms. Cira Piñeiro Alonso, in the presence of Mr. Orlando Requeijo director of North Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of the Cuban Foreign Affairs.
The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of education, especially the efforts that the Cuban Ministry of Education provided to its Sahrawi counterpart such as in the school of Simon Bolivar.
From her part, Cira Piñeiro expressed the readiness of the Cuban Ministry of Education to provide all support and assistance in order to overcome the difficulties to achieve the desired objectives in the field of education.
The Saharawi Ambassador also informed the Cuban acting Minister of Education about the latest developments of the Saharawi cause at the national and international levels, praising the firm position of the Cuban state towards the Saharawi people.(SPS)
