El Aaiun (Occupied Territories) Sept 15, 2015 (SPS) - members of The Collective of Sahrawi Human Rights Defenders (CODESA) on Tuesday met, the political counselor at the US embassy in Rabat, reported CODESA source.
During the meeting, the pair has discussed the situation of human rights in Western Sahara and the ongoing Moroccan violations of human rights against the Saharawi civilians in the occupied territory.
The said collective seized this occasion to call the international community to ensure the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination and independence, demanding in the same context, to release all Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons lifting the siege imposed on the territory.
