Geneva(Switzerland), Sept 17 2015 (SPS) - The Federation of Spanish Associations for Human Rights, organized on Wednesday a workshop under the title of ¨forced disappearances in the Saharawi occupied territories: the right to truth and justice¨, in cooperation with the UN international student movement and the Association of Jurists in law and human rights.
During the workshop, Sahrawi well known human rights activist Ms. Galia djimi has briefly and historically talked about the Moroccan invasion of Western Sahara, focusing in her intervention on the gross and ongoing violations of human rights committed by the Moroccan regime against the defenseless Saharawis in the occupied territories, especially those that affect the fundamental rights such as the right of association, demonstration and freedom of opinion and expression.
The workshop comes in the sidelines of the 30th session of the Council of human rights. (SPS)
