New York (United Nations) Sept 29, 2015 (SPS) – Saharwi delegation composed of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Salem Salek and the Polisario Front representative to the United Nations, Mr. Bukhari Ahmed on Monday, has participated in the works of the seventieth session of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York City.
Saharwi delegation has held several bilateral meetings with a number of Heads of State and Government participating in the event, in which they discussed the bilateral ties and the developments of the conflict in Western Sahara.
It worth mentioning here that the General Assembly of the United Nations began its ordinary session on Monday while it’s Committee on Decolonization (Fourth Committee) will begin its seventh in the 07 of October, where the question of Western Sahara will be one of the main items on its agenda.(SPS)
