Arab Committee for Solidarity with Sahrawi People describes Moroccan behavior as offense to African Union

Shaheed El Hafed, 26 August 2024 (SPS) - The Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People described the recent Moroccan behavior at the preparatory meeting for the TICAD summit in Tokyo as an offense to the African Union in front of partners and the international community.

The Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, in a statement, expressed its condemnation and denunciation of this irresponsible act that violates international law and diplomatic norms, noting that the attack on the Sahrawi ambassador gives the true picture of a regime that does not respect the simplest rules, rights, and laws.

The Arab Committee for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People called on the African Union to expel the Moroccan regime from the body of the Union by canceling Morocco's membership in the African Union, explaining that it will only bring disorders and awful thought to the Union and the international community, and thus lead to an offense to the image of the Union in front of the international community.

The Committee expressed its gratitude and appreciation for the spontaneous position taken by one of the members of the Algerian delegation at this meeting, which expresses the valor, manliness, and pride of the sons of great Algeria.
