Beirut (Lebanon), June 8, 2024 (SPS) - The Lebanese writer and journalist Leila Badiaa has called for mobilizing support for the just Sahrawi cause.
In an intervention during a media conference in Beirut, Leila Badiaa called for rallying support to support the just Sahrawi cause, addressing the legitimate struggle of the Sahrawi people, and on this occasion calling for standing by the right.
Leila Badiaa recalled the visit of the late martyr Wali Mustafa Sayed to Beirut in the 1970s, within the framework of coordinating cooperation with the leftist parties at the time, foremost among them the Lebanese Communist Party and the Palestinian Liberation Front. She said that "the reunion again in Beirut on the 51st anniversary of the launch of the armed struggle is the natural context for the history of resistant Beirut."
