Shaheed Al Hafed, 27 February 2023 (SPS) - President of the African Labor and Amateur Sports Organization, Atour Evele Malik, arrived Sunday in the Sahrawi refugee camps as part of an official visit to the Sahrawi state to take part in the 23rd edition of the sports event "Sahara Marathon" and the celebrations of the 47th anniversary of the proclamation of the Sahrawi Republic.
The President of the African Labor and Amateur Sports Organization began his visit with a meeting with former and current Ministers of Youth Sports, focused on the ways of promising future cooperation that will develop sports at the national, regional and continental levels.
The meeting also discussed means for Sahrawi sports to join their continental counterparts.
