Tenerife (Canary Islands), 17 December 2022 (SPS) - The representative of the Polisario Front in Spain, Mr. Abdallah Arabi, accompanied by the representative of the Polisario Front in Canary Islands, Mr. Hamdi Mansour, held bilateral meetings with political parties and personalities, as part of a tour leading him to the Canary Islands.
The Sahrawi delegation, which was accompanied by the President of the Canarian Association for Friendship with the Sahrawi People, was received at the headquarters of the office of the special adviser for foreign affairs of the Canarian government, who is the acting representative of foreign relations and cooperation in the Canarian government.
It also met with the leadership of the Canarian Coalition party, held a meeting with representatives of the leadership of the Popular Party, received at the headquarters of the Canarian Parliament by the Parliamentary Group for Peace and Freedom of the Sahrawi People, where it held a lengthy meeting with representatives of political parties in the Parliament, and met with the Canarian organization for protection of the Canarian territorial waters.
The meetings were an opportunity for the Sahrawi delegation to talk about the current development related to the Sahrawi issue, where its interlocutors expressed their commitments in defending the Sahrawi people and their just cause with political and humanitarian support.
